I've decided to write the heartfelt poem
About one special nurse who to me had been unknown
I entered the center with trepidation and fear
As the time for many biopsies came closer, so near.
As I lay on the table, shaking with fright,
There appeared Maureen Hansen RN So sympathetic to my plight
With her warm happy smile and while holding my hand,
She reassured me at each step of the procedures she manned.
She supported my arms when each was shaking,
And encouraged me lovingly when my heart was racing.
When I stood up and felt dizzy she supported me under my arm,
Helping me dress and walking and keeping me so calm.
What shall I say, what more can I write?
I felt like my sister was right there on site!
So dear Maureen - thank you and thank you and thank you again so much,
For caring and sharing your soothing gentle touch.
