Maureen Kapinos, BSN, RN, CPN, CCM

Maureen goes above and beyond each and every day, not only in her care for the patients at Kennedy Krieger Institute but also in her interactions with her coworkers. There have been many changes in the case management department and Maureen has adapted and taken on new responsibilities. She is so compassionate with patients and shows her enthusiasm for Kennedy Krieger when she offers tours of the inpatient unit for the families of potential patients. She is always available to answer my questions as I learn my role and has been a great source of support. Maureen has taken on new roles and is juggling many responsibilities while maintaining excellence in each role. She is a strong patient advocate and also an advocate for the case management team. I am so blessed to work alongside Maureen. The world would be a better place if everyone had a coworker and nurse like her!
