My precious 95-year-old grandmother was welcomed to the unit with a comforting smile by Mavis. She was quick to communicate the need for additional tests due to changes in my Granny's condition during transport. Once we were back on the unit, she was by our sides when we received the news that my Granny was not going to survive. She continued to check in on us frequently through the night, ensuring my Granny's last hours with us were as comfortable as possible.

Mavis carefully attended to my Granny, frequently checked in on my mother and me through the night, offering us hot blankets, whatever we needed. She cared for us like we had known each other for years, not hours. She supported us through a long night with care and compassion. We are lucky Mavis is a member of the SVI Team!
