Max Doty, RN

Max helped me when I was feeling very afraid and anxious and not sure what could be done to help me. Even the next day, when he came in, he asked me how I was doing and how my day was, even though he wasn’t my nurse that day.

I would like to nominate Max for the DAISY Award. He helped me get settled and comfortable during my time at Pine Rest. I spoke with Max several times during my stay, and he helped me with a difficult situation outside of Pine Rest by giving me guidance on my thought process and my perspective. He also encouraged me to go to group and I did, and it helped. Max is a genuine, caring, and good man. Thanks, Max!

I am grateful for having Max as an RN. Working on a holiday, I'm sure he had many other things he could have done. Instead, he spent the day working. His smiling, uplifting attitude is a delight! This is for Max.
