We had a patient that was having some issues with being confused and disoriented. She was tired of lying in bed. Family was staying with her, but they were exhausted and were sound asleep. The bed alarm went off and Max went to check on her. After 30 minutes or so we wondered what was taking Max so long so we went to check. There, sitting on the side of the bed, was the patient and Max coloring in her coloring book, each their own picture. Most people would have woken the family members up to watch the patient or tried to get her to go back to sleep, but here was Max sitting with her and coloring. He gave her his time and attention and most of all that human touch that comes from the heart. She was having the best time and enjoyed every minute of their coloring together. Not all things can be fixed by doctors/nurse knowledge or medicine, but by ones' time, attention, heart and touch. Thank you Max.

Thank you, Max, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
