Max made me feel confident in his abilities immediately. He is very kind and conveys his message well. I always have a problem with getting IVs and, in fact, we had problems this time but he was able to use a machine that shows where the veins are and a long needle and voila - success! He is so good that I didn't have bruises on my arm afterward. He also made me quite comfortable with having a male nurse prepare me in case of a groin angiogram. I wouldn't have thought that would be possible before Max. I never felt that it was a problem at all and he did such a wonderful job of keeping me from a bleed after the angiogram. Even the use of a bedpan was so efficiently handled.
Max was so competent and made me feel so happy to be at Evergreen, where I was getting such good care. Thank you, Max, for making my angiogram simple!
