I am in the process of being transferred to another hospital for surgery that is not done here. Maxine has been working all day with that hospital to get me a bed and arrange for my transportation. She finally got it arranged, and when those transporting me arrived, the transporter insisted on taking another blood pressure (even though it was just taken and it was fine). The transporter kept trying to take my blood pressure, receiving an error three times, it was reading to high.
Maxine made sure the transporter would not leave until she was able to get a hold of my doctor on a Friday, after hours, to give me medications that I needed. She was successful!
