When I was diagnosed with MS 10 years ago, Maxine became my nurse, She not only goes above and beyond for all of her patients but works tirelessly to make sure we are all properly taken care of. Through the worst times of my life, Maxine was offering advice and support. She has an amazing sense of humour and never fails to make us laugh or cheer us up. She makes coming in for a monthly infusion easier. She is always there when I need her, all I have to do is call. Such a wonderful and amazing nurse who deserves to be recognised for the amazing job she does. Without Maxine by my side, I don’t think I would cope with the day to day struggles that come with having MS. Maxine is a superstar, angel, and warrior. QMC is damn lucky to have her and I am lucky to have her help in fighting.
