Max was a very kind, caring, and attentive nurse for my mom during her stay at Saint Peter’s. One situation that stood out to me was when he personally brought my mom down to get an x-ray in the middle of the night so she could get the results as soon as possible. He was also very supportive towards my mom after she got the N6 tube put in, and he made sure she was comfortable because he knew she really did not want the tube in even though it was necessary. We were surprised to find out he was a newer nurse to the unit because he was very knowledgeable and experienced. As a nursing student, I was very inspired by Max and I hope I can be as caring and compassionate as him in my future career.
