May came onto shift the last 2 days of my hospital stay. The chemo I had been given was new to me and May immediately assessed my situation and complications and was able to expedite the appropriate care with much compassion. She understood my need to be discharged and the complexities of coordinating my home life, responsibilities, transportation, and care. She went above and beyond to work with the case managers, doctor, and PA to organize stay and yet finalize discharge looking out for all my best interests in both hospital and home care. Outstanding, above and beyond.
