I was hospitalized on continuous monitoring for me and my twins for 7 weeks. When Maya worked, I always requested to have her as my nurse. She was always very kind, like a "mother" figure to me. She always accommodated me and my family. What makes her extraordinary was when it came time for my scheduled C-section. I had it scheduled 2 weeks in advance, of course wanting Maya as my nurse. She was not scheduled for that day and actually had multiple appointments of her own. She rearranged her schedule to come in and work the morning to be with me during the final stretch of my 7 weeks stay in labor and delivery. Needless to say, when she told me that she would be there for me I cried, and so did my mom.
