He answered many questions I had and held my hand during my weak moments. He is the most amazing nurse and human I have ever met in a hospital.
My Father was having breathing issues. We later found out he would be passing soon. McKay became a wonderful, caring person to my Dad and my family. My Mom was in the hospital at the same time as my Dad, and he made sure that everything was done so she could be with my Dad in his last hours. He helped my Dad by talking to him and making him feel safe, comfortable, and being a good friend. He talked to my sisters and me through the whole procedure of letting my Dad go off oxygen and the passing. He was very knowledgeable about everything to watch for. But he did it in a gentle and kind manner. He was there, constantly checking on my dad's progress as well as our grief. He helped us deal with the pain of losing our Dad by being by our side and helping us understand what was going on with him. He went out of his way and above what he had to do. He helped console us after he passed. He answered many questions I had and held my hand during my weak moments. He is the most amazing nurse and human I have ever met in a hospital. I can’t keep thinking about how amazing he was. I could not have gotten through it without him. He made me happy and helped us look at loss in a different way. He cared about us very much.
