McKayla Hansen 2, RN

McKayla has been one of my nurses the majority of my time here. She's nice, always smiling and willing to help when and wherever needed. McKayla checks in on me and keeps me abreast of what's going on. I feel well taken care of. She knows how much I dislike one particular med and makes sure she brings a yogurt for me to take with the medicine. This personal touch is rarely seen. McKayla made me feel seen, understood, and cared for at a vulnerable moment in my life. That connection, that extra effort to care for me as a whole person, not just as a medical case, has made all the difference in my recovery.
