I have been having heart arrhythmias for a couple of weeks and experienced one during rehab. McKensie and I discussed the frequency, etc. and she messaged my cardiologist. My cardiologist ordered some lab work and a holter monitor within a couple of hours. It would have taken much longer for me to get through to my provider, so I was very thankful for McKensie's help.

The same week, I was scheduled to get my holter on the same day of my cardiac rehab, but hours later. When I got to rehab, McKensie told me she called cardiac stress to see if they could fit me in after rehab - and they were. This was great because she saved me another trip back to the hospital. To save time after rehab, McKensie had the PSR register me during my rehab. Following rehab, McKensie walked me down to cardiac stress registration and made sure to stay with me to answer any questions they might have. I have to admit, I have never experienced that level of care in over 20 years.

McKensie is an exceptional nurse. I have heard her explain things about the heart to people in a way that is very easy to understand. She has always listened to me and really cares about me as a person - I'm not just another patient - which is rare to see.
