My husband was admitted to the hospital and from the time of his admission, McKenzie was so kind, caring, and responsive to all of his needs. Her hands-on patient care was exemplary. Not only was she kind to my husband, but she also cared for me and made sure I was always comfortable. When my husband coded, she immediately began CPR and was very professional. She knew exactly what she needed to do. My husband was revived for a short time and taken to CCU where he, unfortunately, passed away. McKenzie was very kind and compassionate over my husband's passing and visibly upset as well. After my husband's funeral, I was so touched to see she had sent an arrangement of flowers with a very kind note. In all of my years of using Anderson's hospital, I have never encountered a nurse with such compassion and professionalism. I highly commend McKenzie and hope that her superiors will recognize her achievements as well.
