mckeylee smart, RN

McKeylee is a wonderful young lady who made my time in Providence wonderful. I was scheduled for surgery but it was pushed back and ended late, so I didn't get into a room until late in the evening. I had been NPO for so long and was so hungry but since I got back so late it was too late to get any food. I don't know for sure, but I am certain McKeylee went and bought me food. I just remember eating the best French fries I've ever eaten.
I was not the easiest patient to care for, but McKeylee was never impatient with me. Her kindness never wavered. I wanted to walk so badly and had trouble staying in the bed. I wasn't allowed to walk or be out of bed by myself. McKeylee came every time I asked and even came by and checked on me any time she had a break. I felt like I was her only patient and I think we walked miles together in my room throughout the night.
McKeylee spent so much time with me - probably more than she should have. I've been around a lot of nurses in my life and no one ever made me feel like McKeylee did. She made me feel special. She was so caring and patient and had such a refreshing personality.
I hope Providence knows how lucky they are to have such an amazing nurse like McKeylee.
