March 2013 Honoree
meagan arthur, BSN, RN2
Meagan began her career on our unit as a clinical technician. She worked the 7PM-7AM shift while she attended the nursing program in George Mason University during the day.
After graduating she began her career as a registered nurse on 6B, no small fete for a new graduate.
On a daily basis Meagan provides excellent care not only to the patients to which she is assigned, but also to the families of those patients. In the short time that Meagan has been a registered nurse she has shown leadership qualities and has, in the past few months, continuously been assigned to the charge role on our unit, a task that many seasoned nurses find difficult but one that she has taken well to and flourished in.

Thank you, Meagan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
