One of the doctors was seeing patients on 7700 when Meagan stopped him; she asked if he would look at a patient she was worried about. Meagan knew something was wrong, but other physicians weren't taking her seriously.
The doctor looked at the patient & immediately recognized that the patient’s toxic necrotizing disease was very serious & they needed to be at a hospital with a burn unit.
The doctor said he has never worked with a "more remarkable nurse." Without Meagan's persistence, this patient would have died. She truly saved his life!
