Meagan McKenzie, BSN, RN

Meagan is an outstanding RN who exudes and exemplifies compassion, empathy, generosity, knowledge, and bravery with her patients and colleagues. It is such a wonderful and unique opportunity to share patient cases with Meagan. She pays so much attention to every detail to ensure that the critical components of the patient’s condition and clinical status are being covered and fully clarified for the whole care team. Meagan also has such a genuine and true caring spirit that she shares with all of our patients and colleagues on 7NE. Be it the tears she shares with her patients dealing with difficult moments during their journeys or the small card or funny story she shares that bring joy into a patient’s room, she is always present and thoughtful and makes a difference to her patients.

In addition to the care Meagan brings to her patients, there is also the amazing support she provides to her team. Meagan is always willing to help others on any day, and she comes to work with the brightest smile and spreads joy for everyone on the unit. Meagan is a gift to our patients and to our team on 7NE and is definitely a DAISY Nurse.
