My 54-year-old brother was in the hospital for many weeks with internal issues and infections. He has MS and many other medical issues, including slurred/Stuttered speech. Meagan treated him so specially, like he was her own brother. She was very kind and patient with him and his needs. Always checking in and asking him about his comfort. She used kid gloves when it came to meds or needles, as he could be very difficult with these. What stood out even more was the smile and greeting my wife and I received when we came to visit. She would stop and give us updates on his condition and care, always asking if we had questions. She was so easy to communicate with, and we were very happy to know my brother was treated like more than just a patient. A few times she wasn't assigned to my brother, but she still smiled and checked on us upon arrival, gave us his current nurse's name, and answered any questions we had. Very impressive. I really hope that if I ever find myself hospitalized in the future, I'm lucky enough to have someone as special as Meagan to help me. I wish her the best and hope she receives recognition for the tremendous person she is. On my last visit, she almost made me cry. She stated: " He is so cute, and I'd love to take him home: My brother has had a difficult life, so to see him smile big at this was such a joy to see. Thank you, Meagan!

Thank you, Meagan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
