Mechelle Conner, BSN RN

My husband received wonderful care from all the nurses and staff during his 18 days at St Elizabeth. However, Mechelle stood out for her compassion and care for him. We "celebrated" our 53rd anniversary while in the ICU. Mechelle purchased a beautiful card and an orchid plant for him to give me! She went out of her way to get these items before work so he would have them for me. She also made a Happy Anniversary sign, which had sweet notes from the different nurses and staff. She would not let us repay her, but I know, with her caring heart and thoughtful, kind nature, she exemplifies the spirit of the DAISY Award
