Meddie cares deeply about her patients and teammates. Meddie is a selfless, yet calming and reassuring, nurse who gives a great deal of herself to her patients. She cares deeply about her patients as people – encouraging them to live a healthy lifestyle. Patients see Meddie as a nurse who takes them under her wings to provide comfort and support. When asking about Meddie in her clinic, you often hear phrases like “she is everything to me!” During recent vaccination efforts, she not only provided vaccines to her over 70 patients and teammates at her own clinic but also took time to go to two other sister facilities to help the nurses administer an additional 100 vaccinations to patients in her community. These efforts she has shown highlight her true devotion to improving patient care and demonstrates her compassion to help others. Additionally, Meddie realizes that the best way to support her current and future patients is to develop other nurses. She loves to coach new nurses and clinical coordinators – yet is incredibly humble and often doesn’t take credit for the significant ripples she spreads throughout her community. Outside of her clinic, Meddie is busy finishing her Masters' in Nursing as well as planning her 2022 wedding!
