Thank you, from the bottom of my heart to you and your nurses for making a very difficult time as comforting as possible.
How well you all treated me! You gave all-around great care. How much I will miss you guys when I leave! You guys made me laugh my butt off. Made me feel like family and I appreciate that! Everyone ran out of their way to help me. I mean this from the bottom of my heart! I respect you all so much!

I’ve been meaning to reach out to let you know what a positive experience I, and my husband’s family, had during an unfortunate situation. My father-in-law was admitted with a change in mental status and garbled speech. CT showed a large mass in his frontal lobe. He proceeded to have a 3-minute seizure early Saturday morning that left him aphasic. He was put on comfort care and his status-declined quickly. He died Wednesday morning. A number of nurses made a positive impact on the family. As a nurse, I often critique patient care based on my experience, education, and beliefs. The nurses I have listed all gave excellent care and exceeded my expectations! Each picked up where the other left off in a seamless manner. I was more than pleased with the gentle empathetic care I witnessed. You should be proud as well. I am aware of the challenges not only with Covid but also with staffing. I felt none of those challenges during this difficult time. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart to you and your nurses for making a very difficult time as comforting as possible.

I really wanted to give recognition to my west wing nurses- Loren, Regina, Steve, Bo, Brooke, and the others gave me care, that was over the top. The nurses aids like Lisa and Meredith, the woman who cleaned my room every day. The wonderful people from the kitchen helped me with the menu. The people who made some great food. Even the Maintenance guy coming around checking lights and other problems. My doctors- Dr. Reynolds and Dr. Soe who took over for her for my discharge. Both doctors took time to make sure I understood what was going on with me. As someone in the building trades for over 40 years. I saw the builder get the credit for the great houses. But I knew about the carpenters, plumbers, electricians, masons, and countless others. I would like to thank your entire team, SVHC has a great group of people. I understand the nurses are on the front lines and deserve a lot of credit.
