Mee-Hye Pachella, BSN, RNC-NIC

It is with great pleasure that I nominate Mee-Hye Pachella for The DAISY Award. Mee-Hye went above and beyond the call of excellence during her shift in the NICU. Mee-Hye arrived for her shift and was assigned a patient who was actively passing away. Unfortunately, the baby did not have parents or caregivers at the bedside. Mee-Hye quickly stepped in, and with the help of several colleagues, she was able to transfer the baby out of bed and into her arms to hold him during his last few minutes of life. In that moment, she provided the most compassionate care you could provide another human being. Mee-Hye is a fantastic nurse and deserving of The DAISY Award for going above and beyond the call of duty! Thank you for all that you do, Mee-Hye!
