I spent 13 days on two separate occasions as Meechelle's patient. As a scared patient having her as a nurse was amazing; having to start chemo and having to change my diet, activity, and basically my way of life was an experience that I was able to adjust to because of Meechelle's support. Meechelle took the time to do research on my condition and teach me how to be successful.
Meechelle strives to give compassionate care to all her patients and is a good patient advocate as well as a great leader improving processes and promoting nursing professionalism. Meechelle is a valuable asset to Peace Health and her department. She is a charge nurse and a good leader, teaching her staff to be the caring and compassionate people that they are.
