Meena Assefa, RN III

Meena Assefa has been honored with the 1st Quarter DAISY Award at Saint Luke's South Hospital. Meena was nominated by a grateful patient's spouse for the compassionate care she provided to the patient while hospitalized. Meena was cheerful and professional and answered many questions they had about the patient's care. She helped ease their anxiety and created a sense of trust and comfort when it was needed the most. The spouse wrote how it was clear it was that Meena loved her job and that Meena often complimented her team as "spectacular". They closed the nomination with "She is absolutely the best!"
