I have been a surgical tech in the operating room for the last 22 years. I would like to nominate one of my coworkers, Meery Panlilio, for the DAISY Award.  She is a wonderful and respectful nurse who is the ENT coordinator. She took on this challenging position while fairly new within our department, and she has done an incredible job ever since she has been the coordinator. She is always there to assist with any equipment or answer any questions we might have while doing any procedure with any of the ENT surgeons. Meery is always available, even after hours. We can always count on her to answer the phone and help us with questions we might have during a difficult case. A few months ago, room six was under construction. This is the main room where most of the ENT cases are done. She did an exceptional job by helping all of us with supplies and equipment during this time of construction. Now that the construction is over, she managed to arrange everything back into room six. Her responsibilities as a coordinator are many, but she is always very pleasant to work with, and most of the ENT surgeons are very pleased with her performance as the ENT coordinator. I am looking forward to seeing her honored due to her commitment to the families who trust the care of their children to us.
