Megan Baerhold, RN

We had the privilege of having Megan assigned to our Mom’s care. Although she was assigned to Mom’s shift for only two days, Megan made a huge impact on our Mom’s healthcare during a very critical time. Megan was consistently proactive and displayed great initiative by repeatedly reaching out to attending physicians for answers. She set patient goals for each day and always kept us informed with regular phone calls. Megan’s determination to secure answers made all the difference in Mom’s healthcare. She was always compassionate, kind, and patient. Not only did she answer all of our questions, but she cheerfully educated us in many ways. Megan consistently went the extra mile for us. Perhaps the highest compliment I can pay Megan is that she treated our Mom as if she were her own mother. We will always remember her kindness. We highly and wholeheartedly recommend Megan for the DAISY recognition. She deserves all the praise that can be rendered to a nurse.
