Megan was kind, understanding, and sympathetic.
In battling bladder cancer, I have had my share of catheters. But during the first visit of my second round of BCG, I was still hurting the following week, and my blood pressure was through the roof due to my fear of being hurt again. Megan was the nurse for my second visit. She was kind, understanding, and sympathetic. She took her time with me, went out to reassure my wife, and is the best at putting in a catheter that I have ever had. But she went above and beyond, making sure that if she was scheduled, she took care of me on my weekly visit.

One week the unit was overbooked, but she came in to reassure me and ended up putting in the catheter herself while another nurse did the rest of the treatment. This meant she stayed later when she was supposed to leave early. Megan shines brighter than most others and I feel privileged to have experienced her care.
