She remembered from hours before when I said I’d do anything for a yummy cookie.
Megan was my L&D nurse for my son Z. Although I haven’t had many hospital visits before. I know that Megan went above and beyond for me. She was so attentive and compassionate. She always made sure I was comfy and doing ok. Helping me switch positions in bed when I was in pain, helping me brush my teeth to then helping me deliver my baby boy. My son, Z was born @ 719pm and as we know that is shift change but instead of her leaving, she stayed. I truly believe I would have had a much harder delivery if it wasn’t for Megan. The next day she came and stopped by to say hi and check on me and Z in our new room. I’ll never forget the small act of bringing me a Panera Chocolate Chip cookie to eat after I gave birth. She remembered from hours before when I said I’d do anything for a yummy cookie. I hope every L&D nurse is as caring as she is and if I ever have more kids, she’s my nurse. I hope to be as good of a nurse as she is in a few years.
