August 2020 Honoree
megan byrne 2020, RN, BSN
I went to an appointment one morning and found out that my brain tumor was terminal. When I came back from my appointment to Marianjoy, they still wanted me to do therapy. Megan, my nurse, stopped everyone and said, "No more therapy today." She really made me laugh as she was running around to find everyone to let them know. She was like a little gazelle. Making me laugh was hard to do on a very difficult day when I just found out this news.
Thank you, Megan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
