During my hospital stay I had the extreme pleasure of having this nurse for two of the days. Being hospitalized for chronic stabbing pain and nausea was awful. She was a breath of fresh air. She would constantly check on me and was never late with my medications. She always did her best to at least bring a smile to my face each time she came to see me. She exemplifies all the characteristics. She is trusted by the physicians, staff, and patients. I have not only experienced her great care, I also witnessed it too many times to count. UPMC and her patients are truly lucky to have her. She deserves this award for her extraordinary care!
