I am writing to express my gratitude to the team at your Heart Center that is responsible for nuclear testing. My experience began with speaking with Megan to try and schedule an urgent nuclear test for my mother. From the moment Megan picked up the phone I felt heard, cared for, and understood in a manner that I don’t find common in navigating the healthcare system. Megan was so thorough in providing me with information so I could easily navigate conversations with my mother’s primary care provider and with insurance to get the appointment scheduled quickly. To my surprise and delight, Megan followed up with me, my mother, and her primary care provider several times. The way she communicated efficiently and with genuine care was above and beyond my expectations. My gratitude is immense. Through the course of several days, I ended up speaking with many members of the team at the Heart Center. Each interaction felt as impressive as the last. My call was answered with kindness, care, and concern, WOW! It is clear to me that the culture in that department is one of teamwork filled with people who enjoy their jobs and feel cared for by their colleagues from the top down. My mother's experience on-site was equally impressive. Thanks to the fast action in scheduling and persistence in ensuring the results were read and returned to the primary care provider, my mother was able to proceed with her knee surgery just a few days after the tests. She is recovering well, and I am so thankful.
