Megan was the nurse of a chronically ill patient who was unable to come off BiPAP. This patient was also a nurse who understood her disease process and was emotionally unable to decide on comfort care. Megan always sat and talked with her (even when not the assigned nurse). Providing reassurance that whatever decision the patient made will be the right one. The patient ultimately decided on comfort care and Megan came in on her day off to ensure that this patient was supported and comfortable
