Megan went over and above what was expected from my husband's nursing staff. He was admitted in March with Lewy Body Dementia which had progressed to the point where he was terminal. Megan showed caring through her attentiveness and immediately made an impact on him. If she came in when he was in an agitated state, seeing her would help calm him down. She not only administered medication, but also stayed, holding his hand, stroking his arm, and saying soothing words to him, until he would calm. He often tried, sometimes successfully, to kiss Megan as she cared for him. She truly made things easier for him. Megan even stopped in on her day off to check on him and the rest of us.
