This young lady is amazing. I don't know what she eats for breakfast, but Megan is full speed ahead at all times. She is always up to speed with the needs of her patients, is able to provide needed information to the physicians, is fluent with regulatory information, and does all of this with a smile on her face.
She is unflappable and if she is, she doesn't ever let it show. I have seen her visit with concerned family members at the nurse's station and after she has provided an explanation and plan moving forward, they always leave comforted in knowing that their loved one is in good hands.
Megan is also an excellent team member. She has the ability to not only keep track of her own patients but also communicate the needs of other patients to the appropriate party. There have been some crazy days on 6 tower, in part, due to our unique case mix. Sometimes it's hard to keep the "on-stage behavior" thing going. Megan's "can do" attitude helps to keep the entire team lifted up and staying positive.
It has been a pleasure getting to work with her and we are blessed to have her on our neuro team.
