My father went into cardiac arrest at a holiday party and was brought to the Community Medical Center. From the ER, my father was transferred to ICU. His treatment by Megan went above and beyond. Megan is the epitome of what a nurse should be. She was kind and caring, answered all of our questions, and spoke to us clearly and with compassion. She treated my father with dignity and empathy and helped to ease a lot of our fears. She made sure the doctors followed up with us and explained everything to us clearly. Megan truly is an angel on Earth. She deserves all the accolades that can be afforded to her. She will never be forgotten by our family during one of the scariest moments of all our lives. Please bestow on her the DAISY Award in honor of the care, compassion, and treatment she provided to my father.
