August 2026 Honoree
Megan Gammell, ADN, RN
I would like to commend Megan for her compassion, patience, and the kindness she brings to our patients each day on a locked behavioral health unit. These patients are often going through some of the darkest moments of their lives. Megan always has a way of making people feel safe, heard, and cared for simply by how she speaks to them and shows up for them every day. She treats every patient with patience, dignity, and understanding, even on the hardest days.
With all she's been through in the past year, she still shows up with the best attitude. Megan often jokes that she is the personality here, but to her coworkers and patients, she is so much more than that. She reminds patients that they are still human, still valued, and never alone. The impact Megan has on the people around her cannot be measured.

Thank you, Megan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
