Words are insufficient to express our gratitude for Megan’s support and friendship over our father’s final 18 months. From the moment she entered our home, she was an integral member of our family care team. Dad trusted her implicitly, and she confidently steered all of us through many fraught moments. She never failed to keep our care efforts on track, and we appreciated her honest, straightforward answers to our toughest questions.

Dad was always pleased (and relieved) to see her, and he thoroughly enjoyed talking to her about the Phillies, her family, and her son’s musical progress (Dad was a retired music teacher). Megan was our secret weapon when it came to managing Dad. We knew that if she suggested it, he’d do it. He might resist us, but he’d say yes to Megan. You cannot imagine how many times we would leave a quandary for her to resolve, as we knew he’d go along with whatever Megan would say!

We would not have gotten through this journey without Megan!
