June 2025 Honoree
Megan Gibson, RN IV
My Dad was a patient in the SICU for a CABG. Megan was one of the most caring and intuitive nurses I have ever met. Megan was my Dad’s nurse on night one, post op from the CABG. Not only was she his primary RN, but she was also training for half the shift and was the charge RN. Not once did my Dad feel forgotten. In fact, he raved about how attentive she was to him even when she was busy with charge duties. My Dad said that the first night was the worst due to nausea post op, but Megan did everything in her power to make him feel better. My family slept well at night knowing that Megan was his nurse. Reading Hospital is so lucky to have Mega.
Thank you, Megan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
