I had a liver biopsy and came back with pain worse than having a baby. She stood by me, kept calling the doctor and did not give up until she had my pain level down. As bad as I hurt, her care and compassion gave me willpower. I really thought I was going to die, honest, and she gave me the strength to hold on. Every time I’d want to give up, she held me and kept telling me to hang on a few more minutes. I didn’t know it, but my family said she had tears run down her checks.
I went home later on but was readmitted the same day. It has been 4 days. I’m still on 3rd floor now and every time my pain level intensifies I hear Megan. I will never forget her. Please tell her for me that she will always have a special place in my heart. She is a very special lady and deserves an award for that terrible day.
