My experience was probably the best I have ever had at GSH! Right away from the moment I arrived, I was assessed quickly and with friendliness. My Nurse Megan Heath was phenomenal! She was attentive, always smiling, and in my opinion, went above and beyond! She asked me multiple times if there was anything I needed. With COVID, I could not have anyone there (at first) and I was very nervous and scared. Megan listened to me, and that meant a lot!
When I was approved for my husband to come into my room with me in the middle of the night, he had fallen asleep in the vehicle outside while waiting and I could not get a hold of him. Megan asked me what type of vehicle, the color of vehicle, and his name. While I was getting my CT Scan done, she went outside and got him for me, which helped ease my anxiety a lot. Any questions I had, she answered. I felt very confident in not only Megan, but my entire care team, and would gladly have any/all of them trusted with my care again. GSH is very lucky to have them all!
