megan heckman, RN

Megan is my Knight in Gale. All of the nurses and staff on 5 South have been wonderful. I must say though that Megan was extraordinary in every way. She always was above and beyond doing her job. There were several times when I experienced panic attacks because I couldn't breathe properly, and Megan kept her calm and got me back on track to breathe properly. My husband witnessed one of these attacks and commented after how outstanding she had handled this emergency situation. I must add that when she was on duty she always went out of her busy day to make me feel like I was at home - especially after being in the hospital for over 2 weeks. I could not think of anything more that any nurse could have done to make me feel more comfortable on my many days here.
