I was in the hospital for 5 wks and almost died. I was tired of being poked several times a day. I was done with the nurses and just wanted to leave the hospital. I was getting ready to leave and Megan took me to a space where we had some privacy, she let me cry, vent, and yell, and she just sat and listened. She then hugged me and told me she understood. She also let me know how important it was for me to stay...so I stayed. She saved my life that day. She is a nurse who isn't on the clock just for a check. She really cares for the patient and it shows. She was amazing. I always felt safer, better, and more comfortable when she was here. She really deserves to be recognized for her hard work, and compassion for her patients. She truly is an angel sent from God. I can't thank her enough for everything she did for me.
