During her time at CSULB, Megan has shown multiple characteristics of a great nurse. She has been regarded as the “backbone” of her cohort due to her advocacy of her peers, patients, and families. Her compassion, kindness, and empathy are something that is felt by everyone around her. Megan's leadership was seen not only in the clinical and academic setting but within the school of nursing as a whole. She was able to gain the respect of their peers and faculty with her contributions to the school, along with the California Nursing Student’s Association. She left her mark on the school of nursing and all the peers, families, and patients she has touched. Megan is pursuing a nursing career in critical care in the Bay Area, California.
