Megan Johnson 2021, RN

Tuesday morning I got a phone call from my sister saying she was bringing my Mother into the ER because something was wrong. I had to drive over an hour to get to the ER obviously in a panic. And I was greeted by the warm smile from Megan comforting not only my mom but also me. Coming from a medical background, Megan promptly talked to me about medications given and the plan of care before I could even ask. Megan was checking in on us a few times an hour with a smile (that we could see under her mask). Megan made our stay at NVRH so much better. It was frightening to be on the opposite side of the story (usually I’m the nurse and my mother is always healthy) however Megan was with us every step of the way. She is the type of nurse that leaves a special place in all of her patients' hearts.
