Megan, my best and most admired nurse,
You came into my room with your smile. I was on my worse down and you made sure I was good. Your smile made me feel safe and cared for and loved. Megan, I never had such caring or felt so safe. Your job was to help me get better. You came in when I was at my lowest. You held my hand and you gave me comfort. You went way beyond your duty and I could never forget.
I leave this place with you in my mind and heart. You are in the perfect profession, the love you share with your patients is the most I have ever seen; I can see it in your glow, your smile and your attitude.
Thank you for sitting with me and making sure I didn't jump out the window. I'm so glad you came into my life!
