I was visiting from MN and was admitted to the hospital. Megan was so friendly, explained procedures carefully, and just went out of her way to serve in a skilled way. My elderly mom visited me but when she had not made it home after an hour of leaving, Megan said she was at the end of her shift but volunteered to check the lobby with the front desk clerk. She was instrumental in helping find my mom who it turned out was having a diabetic episode in the ER waiting room (she had gotten on the wrong elevator and was disoriented). I appreciate the fact that even the next day she wasn’t assigned to my unit but still stopped in the hall to ask me how I was going and how mom was, in a way that didn’t break privacy laws. We need more Megan’s in this world.
