A patient visited the Black Hills area and suffered injuries in an accident, and received care at the Sturgis Hospital. Megan made an impression on this patient by being attentive, friendly, taking the time needed, and anticipating needs. In addition, she had exceptional communication and kept both the patient and significant other informed and educated. She was honest, extremely caring, and provided emotional support which helped immensely in the recovery process. She has exemplified how caring can truly make a difference.
