Megan Moore, RN, was nominated by her leader. Megan and another nurse jumped in immediately to manage an emergent medical situation involving the father of a pediatric patient while in the office. The patient's father was transported to a higher level of care for surgery. Megan kept the pediatric patient safe in the office while waiting for the child's mother to come to the office to pick up the child.
